ABOUT IFC'S VITAE PROGRAM

The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, developed the Vitae program to assist higher education institutions in improving graduate employability. Vitae offers data-driven assessments and tailored advisory services, enabling institutions to align their curricula and services with labor market demands. By participating in Vitae, institutions can benchmark their practices against global standards, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategies to enhance student career outcomes.

Since its inception, Vitae has engaged with over 123 institutions worldwide, positively impacting approximately 1.5 million students. For example, in Colombia, Javeriana University utilized Vitae to significantly boost graduate employability, with about 85% of its students securing employment within a year of graduation.
